PAPER PUSHER

  • Role: Design, writing, and creation of 2D art assets, iterative co-design of tweet scraping concept
  • Tools: Unity 3D, PlayFab, Twitter API, Google Sheets

Paper Pusher (2016) is a drudgery simulator for iOS and Android. Push virtual papers to avoid the monotony of real work!

The content of memos in Paper Pusher is drawn from real-world tweets, according to a new theme each day; for instance, while you might be pushing papers about cats one day one, by day two you'll be sorting tweets about cheddar bay biscuits.

Compete with your friends to ascend the corporate ladder and be awarded with stickers of cats, cheddar bay biscuits, and other images of precious commodities.

Paper Pusher was developed over 2 semesters in 2015-2016 by a team of 5 in Ian Bogost and Blair MacIntyre's Georgia Tech Game Studio. It's currently in submission to the App Store.
